Our Story

Red Flyer, headquartered in Atlanta, was founded in 2021 as the investment company for the family of Terry S. Brown, a co-founder of Asana Partners. Red Flyer is owned, led and managed by second and third generation Brown family members.

We partner with early stage consumer products and lifestyle brands that are distinctive in the marketplace and match our own interests.

Our extended family has been immersed in retail real estate for decades, giving us a profound understanding of market trends and consumer behaviors as well as deep, long-lasting relationships with people and companies across the consumer ecosystem. At Red Flyer, we leverage our extensive network for collaboration and support to create value for our portfolio companies.

Our Team

Ali Brown
General Manager

As the General Manager of Red Flyer, Ali directs the Company’s investments and operations. She leads the sourcing, structuring and diligence of new investment opportunities. In addition, Ali devotes much of her time and energy to working with our portfolio companies to support their growth strategies, organizational development and execution in the marketplace.

Prior to launching Red Flyer in 2021, Ali was a Senior Manager at Deloitte in its Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory business. Ali focused on performing financial due diligence for strategic and private equity clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions in the Consumer sector.

Ali graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Georgia in 2012. She received her Masters in Accountancy from the University of Georgia in 2013.

Outside of Red Flyer, Ali is all about her family. She loves spending quality time with her husband and two lively preschool-aged boys. As time allows, she enjoys sneaking in a round of golf with family and friends.
